Ruxton's Trading Post

Ruxton's Trading Post is located in an historic building that straddles Ruxton Creek. Ruxton Creek served as a landmark and route for Native Americans and early 19th century explorers.  One of those explorers was Frederick Ruxton and it seemed appropriate that we name our store after him.

Ruxton Avenue is the route to the Cog Railway Station and the Barr Trail Trailhead. Ride the Cog Railway to the summit of Pikes Peak or test your stamina on Barr Trail, a 13 mile climb to the summit.

Ruxton's Trading Post features Cowboy and Indian Antiques and Collectibles and Native American Art. Please browse our site or contact us with your wants.

Will James Book by William Gardner Bell

(Item: WILL JAMES BOOK)
"Will James the Life and Works of a Lone Cowboy" has always been my favorite biography of Will James. The book and it's dust jacket are in new condition. The cover on the dust jacket makes the second picture look fuzzy. It is just the protective cover that makes it look bad. Published in 1987 and out of print this is a FIRST EDITION, I don't think it was ever printed again. The book is full of photos and has color and black and white artworks by Will James. If you love his art and writing you will love this book. It takes you from the begining to the end. Through jail success, movie-making and drinking. 130 pages, hardcover. Buyer pays $9.00 S+H in the USA.
